In the ancient Vedic Scriptures, there is a very special story, which I am going to share with you in my own words.
First, I would like to tell you something about these Vedic Scriptures:
Veda comes from Sanskrit and means knowledge: you have probably heard of Ayurveda, the knowledge of a long, happy and healthy life.
The Vedas are ancient and sacred texts written from timeless philosophies and by the ancient teachers. The knowledge they bring with them comes from oral transmissions of enlightened people thousands of years ago. They were written about 5,500 years ago and reveal their wisdom and philosophies through nature. The Vedas reveal answers about the purpose and role of all existence. They also provide information about living in harmony with nature to achieve long-lasting happiness, health and peace.
There are different versions of this story and you can also find it in other texts, such as in Buddhism for example.
I’ll give you the shortened version:
It is the story of a group of blind men who had never encountered an elephant and described the elephant by touching it. Each blind person feels a different part of the elephant’s body, but only one part, such as the side or the tusk.
The first person, whose hand landed on the trunk, said: “This creature is like a fat snake”. To another whose hand reached his ear, it looked like some sort of bird. The next, whose hand rested on one leg, said, “The elephant is like a tree trunk.” The blind man who put his hand on his side said that the elephant was a kind of wall. Another who felt his tail described it as a rope. The latter felt his tusk and declared that the elephant was hard, smooth and like a spear.
And to this day these men argue with each other about their share of the truth. Entire civilizations were obliterated because they did not believe the same as those who came to convert them (The Crusades in The Middle Ages). There are wars between countries just because they don’t have the same faith (continuously).
We have angry parents and children because they don’t see things the same way. Many marriages ending in divorce because of a different variation of the truth.etc. etc
I learned from an old shaman that they do not seek the truth: there is one truth and that is that all beings have a heart and as such are equal. In addition, the shaman only seeks harmony. What she said: “When I tell you my part of the truth and you tell me your part of the truth, then we can seek harmony in that and bring our parts together. When we can bring all parts of the truth together in harmony, we learn from each other and evolve together. Then we find out we’re the same. I am another you and you are another me. I see myself in you, because I am you! We are all connected!”
In my workshops, trainings and here on my website I share my ‘sight’ of the truth with everyone and I look at your perspective of the truth and of the world without judgment.
Through channeling I, along with my wife Joy, have learned to be open channels and receive the truth from our Higher Self and guides and ascended beings.
